Assetto Corsa

Have just ordered myself a wheel for this, the Logitech Driving Force GT. I've done a little research and it seems well recommended.

I've played this with a pad and there's something just right with the handling of this, reminds me of a game I played years ago called Sports Car GT.

Wow...you're right. There were only a couple of cars from memory, but it felt so right. Hovering over buying one of those wheels too, if I'm on Santa's naughty list.

I'm finding rumblings of a 599XX and Z4 GT3 coming to us in the 0.4 update, along with Monza, so far...
 
Just taken delivery of my Logitech DFGT. Already shaved 2 seconds of my best Monza time. This will be played lots over Christmas, the family can bugger off :D

I'm assuming there'll be an OCUK multiplayer server at some point? Somewhere where I can go to avoid the muppets?
 
A quick sum up please.

I LOVE Forza, have completed all of them, apart from the last, had 3 races left before 100% but lost my saved game (almost went on a murdering spree). Since, I have not touched the series. But have been wanting something similar on the PC. Not to sim focused, not to arcadic, something with a decent career etc etc...

Is this the game I'm looking for once it's completed? Or is that C.A.R.S?

Just had a go on it, the cars feel AMAZING with the controller! Really good right off the bat, I had everything off, 50% stability control and racing line.

I hope they make the menu compatible with the 360 controller because I'm bored of going back to my desk each time to change.

Worth £22? I hope so, let's see how the 'career' pans out.
