Assetto Corsa

Quality I hear is as good as if not better than Kunos stuff, top class modding team apparently, haven't tried myself but over on RD forums they are raving about their stuff.

What's the best possible "real life" graphic mod for this? I've found this: http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/good-and-bad-weathers.11194/

I'm not 100% sure how to install it. There's the main mod linked at the top, then 3 more down below. I can't get it looking like the pictures mainly the interior etc. Do I install all 3 THEN the main linked mod or what?

I have loads of PP filters but no "weather" option. It's driving me nuts..

Isnt the weather option selected in settings before each race? Where as post processing filters can be selected during the race itself... Screenshots do look very nice, I'm tempted to try it myself (always driven with default pp filters and weathers up to now).

Open the zip, then drag and drop the system and content folders into your main assetto corsa installation folder.
You can then select your weather choice in any offline hotlap/race like so:

ED: Beaten...

You could also try using the content manager he links to.

I tried that, the clouds bit even had an error.

yeah which zip? There's 3 linked files and his file. It's not really clear if the mods are just based off those 3 or I NEED those 3 as well.

Ohhh shoot, there's the weather!

Dunno if you've sorted it out, but you download the file via the big blue download link at the top left of the page :)

He's just mentioned those other three files, as he's based his mod off them.

Just a little head's up that we have round 2 of 10 of our F1 series this Sunday @Hockenheim GP in the F138.
It'd be awesome to get that grid filled up a little more :)

As always, you don't have to be an alien or an F1 specialist. All you have to do is be aware of your surroundings and make sure that you familiarise yourself with the simple rules and regulations beforehand.

Personally, I slightly suck in the F1 cars so far, but practice makes perfect and all that.
We're all there to have fun at the end of the day, so have a go. You might just like it :)

All the info you need is here if you fancy it.

You can also get some GT3 action on Saturday evening if that's more your cuppa.

For those that are more into tally ho scarf and goggle action, sorry...

Anyone try some of the paid mods from URD?

Not keen on the idea of paying for mods, how different are they from the free ones? I'm quite content with those.

Quality I hear is as good as if not better than Kunos stuff, top class modding team apparently, haven't tried myself but over on RD forums they are raving about their stuff.

They're pretty damn good.

I'd recommend the DTM (T5) and GT (EGT) packs.
The LMP1+2 (PX1+2) are pretty good too, with excellent audio. Not really played about with them much lately, though I think they got a little harder to drive in the latest update.

nice one pue. hopefully i nearly done my videos man last few days so many :p then i can get some racing done.

just seen that the new Porsche pack maybe being added soon.on reddit.

I would also recommend the EGT & PX packs. They're really well made, sounds are great and handling characteristics are good also.

Car models are really well made (this is a free skin from Race Department) Best way to get the cars for a WEC grid :)
