Maybe some more intake fans or something, sounds like the case is cooking it in the cards own hot air.
Most games have an intermission or a loading screen, if its constantly on that could be it. I think I saw an option for 3d rendering in the menu, turning that off might help

Any news as to when multiplayer is getting implemented into the game yet? Can't wait for that do get drifting/racing with some people.

No news on multiplayer, could be a while yet as the game has another 5 updates to go before becoming 1.0 version.

Pretty chuffed at getting #37 on the leaderboard with an xbox pad

What settings are you using for the xbox pad?
What car settings did you use?
If AC was finished at a full game, hands down, I'd pick this...
If you want to play the single player now, F1 '13 is the way to go. AC doesnt have the SP or MP features as yet, as this is Early Access so in development stages...
but then I'd pick this anyway, I like the physics and handling, and the fact that trying to correct a slide in the F40 on the keyboard is fun if not very challenging.

Car was left as is. I haven't tuned a car since FM4 well over a year ago and have forgotten what most of it does
That was with no assists and 10% stability control.
Pad settings as below. For twitchier cars, you might want to dampen the steering a little.
Works well (for me) with the Abarth and the BMW GT cars too.
Other cars need a bit of work.
Two completely different games
If you like F1, get that. If you like driving other stuff, get this.
Get both if anything

Wonder if this will go back on sale, after watching a fair bit of gameplay I'm sold. Now to play the waiting game
It's been on sale twice so far, it may come back on the last day.
To be honest, if you're sold then it's worth the full £29.99 anyway.

With all my best sectors together it'd be 2:10 for me. So nowhere close but the xbox controller settings are good, I couldnt get the car to turn in before so it must have been badly wrong.
I think that cars are far too stable as is, not enough feeling of weight shift under hard braking for example and not much oversteer for the power so again weight and torque steer too absent for the moment
I was so looking forward to driveclub on the PS4 but this game has kinda put me off it lol. I can't imagine it looking better especially when you have the supersampling cranked up and the sound/handling feels really good. I love how difficult the F40 is when you first try it but once you get used to it, it feels awsome to drive.
