thought i would finally make a post in this thread
got assetto corsa on the implied recommendation of Mike306.
pretty impressed so far.
only really tried a few cars and tracks to get a better feel for it rather that trying loads of stuff at once.
but after spending a week in the F40 at monza66 i decided to switch to the P4 at mugello so i can kind of keep in sync with what others in this thread are trying.
currently using a thrustmaster t500rs and fanatec clubsport v2 pedals.
got into sim racing with GPL back in the day and it was amazing how similar the lotus 49 at monza66 was compared to the lotus in GPL. i was lapping within a couple of seconds of my GPL time after the first lap. shows how well the physics in GPL hold up over the years.
will try submitting times to the RSR table (as thetinsnail) but the RSR app loses me loads of FPS, which is a bug affecting lots of apps when used with crossfire, including, ironically, the app that displays your FPS
