Assetto Corsa

Just installed the game, I click on either of the options, I am trying to select main menu, and it just goes to a blank screen and I cannot go any further. I have validated the game files, any tips? Is this a common thing to happen?

Thanks for reply, but Its not working after enabling dx10. To be honest my laptop is now over 2 years old, its an i7 powered dell xps 17. think the gpu is a gtx 550m.

Was hoping I would still be able to give it a go, graphics aside, and see what the physics were like. Oh well, waste of £20
 
I wouldn't lose hope based on that spec. I'm running on:

AMD Phenom II x4 965, 6gb RAM, GTX 460, Windows 7 64 bit and it runs fine

If you use a spoiler tag at the top and the bottom of your post then it won't muck up the view of the thread but will still allow people to look at the images :)
 
There is a little speech bubble when you are typing your message that says "spoil". Highlight your image links and click it :D

or simple type [ SPOILER] at the beginning of your link and [ /SPOILER] at the end (without the spaces)

With it being on offer over the weekend I decided to finally pick this up and I've enjoyed my time with it. I was surprised how easy the Lotus T125 was to drive, unlike the F40 which I struggled with.
 
F40 has steering that is 1080 degrees lock to lock , its 1980s brakes are tiny and rubbish. Plus it runs on 1990s tires by default... Plus it has massive turbo lag. Not easy :)
 
I wouldn't say the brakes are rubbish, they're more than capable of locking the wheels so the stopping power is there. It's definitely tricky to get it right though, you need to get a few laps in to warm the tyres and brakes up and with the lack of ABS it keeps you on your toes.
Definitely an awesome car to drive when you get it right though!
