Assetto Corsa

Have posted that an the "Logs" on the AC forum to see what they say. Better get it fixed, G27 tomorrow!

Tried the Pagani Huayra..what an utter pig of a car. Understeers like a shopping trolley. Can't believe the actual car behaves like this. Perhaps it's my set up..

I'm trying to improve the image quality, normally I use ingame 8xAA. How do you force decent AA though CCC? My settings are below, targeting acs.exe but I'm not seeing any real visual difference or performance hit.

I've tried it with edge detect on too but again no real difference.

I'd highly recommend sweetFX though, really sharpens up the detail. (may need to be forum member to see link)

Does AC have or will it have a "Career" Mode?

The one thing about PCars I'm highly anticipating is the career mode in it, just wondering if I should jump ship to this?

Targeting acs.exe doesn't seem to work, so you need to adjust CCC's AA options without making a game specific profile.

will have career mode (doesn't yet) and 'apparently' scheduled for full release this month ......

Yep, career mode is already in the menu but not accessible yet. I cant imagine the game being released without it so it should be with us shortly (within a month?).

Don't force it...it doesn't work.. Just use application settings but in the CCC change It to Supersampling... Then just put it up to 8x in the game and you will see it working.

There is also the Thrustmaster TX, meant to be a smoother wheel compared to the T500rs.

did this game steal the spot-light from CARS? :) I've just tried CARS again and I seem to be even more limited as a junior.. ?!?!!?

this "unless you're a team member you can't use this or that car" malarky is driving me nuts with CARS.

I think I'm done with the game before it's even released, AC looks and feels great and there's no limitations.. hmm.

PCars I think is going for the next (current now) gen in terms of X1 and Ps4 so they are I think going for the playstation GT or Xbox Forza player from the looks..

I tried Pcars last night, I'm a Team Member + and hardly anything is locked, but the game is moving more and more towards gamepad racers then ever before IMO..

Well, if I use ingame AA (not inspector Supersamping) and keep reflections maps at medium and all other things maxed, then the game is running at locked 91fps. 8x SSAA drops fps to 50 with occasional dips into 30s - ok, but not great. I prefer the locked 90 :)

Without SSAA the game looks like this - still pretty good, but driving feels amazing :)
