Definitely sorted my EVO 840 120GB drive out. Thanks Samsung! P.S. I had no problem with the update - it went smoothly from start to end, with the only bit of me pressing anything, when I had to reboot as instructed. Very pleased now with this superb VFM SSD.
 
Noticed a marked improvement when I fixed this manually and this official fix have given a little bit more performance on top of that.

Thanks Aurhinius for not being lazy like me and reporting this plus working with samsung. Good result all round.
 
I'm being a bit "thick" here.

I see a "trust" button on posts, but a) I haven't got a clue what it's for and b) when I click on it nothing happens (unless I'm not logged in, then a "find" thingy appears).
 
just enter your forum username and pw,its so folks can private msg you or leave feedback

add your email address to it aswell

(click your own trust button and set it up)

When I'm not logged in, and click on "Trust" it still opens a window with a "find" box inside it.

If I log in, nothing happens when I click on "Trust".

I'm using Firefox, so I'll try IE instead.
 
OK. It seems that when firefox opened up the "trust" window, it wasn't expanded enough to show the "login" option. I`ve enabled trust now, so I assume I should be able to delete any of my posts if I wish.
