See the yt video linked on the previous page.So mine has finally arrived and I can honestly say I'm very impressed. Can people recommend best settings? DP or HDMI when connected to the PC? I want the absolute most I can get out of it.
If anyone has a copy could they please let me have it also, thanks.Unfortunately Asus removed the V028 Firmware from their homepage i did not make a backup of it.
Does anyone have the V028 and can send it to me?
No it doesn’tDoes the Asus screen have the near black fine tuning feature that the LG screens have?
I ask as it is a feature that I use on the LG when I play games in vrr that run at lower fps eg 60fps.
I also have the AW oled and it doesn't have this feature which surprises me, and I am wondering if it is just an lg feature?
Have you tried the Uniform Brightness feature?Anyone know how to prevent the screen from auto dimming all the time?
You need to turn off the Screen Saver setting in the screen protection part of the OSD menu. That’s the ASBL featureYeah, its like it's going into standby, almost. Pulling up a bright Web page brings it back
RTings tested with an old firmware. I haven’t seen any hdr issues on mine, besides it won’t wake up or loses signal on alt-tab with hdr sometimes. Using the remote usually fixes it. I hope they release a new firmware. This is on DP, HDMI might not have this issue. HDR looks great )Been eyeing this one, RTings say there are HDR issues with it, is that true? Yet they score it marginally higher than the LG 48GQ900-B, even in HDR. Confused!
the main issue imho is the ASUS 42" ROG Swift PG42UQ vs. LG C2 Evo the latter of which can be had for £799, so what are you getting what are you paying for over and above that which makes to the Asus attractive?
