Evening all. Just checked the tracking and we are all set for delivery tomorow. I have got two shipments of 100 comming into stock and that is it at this price point and vendor.
 
I was looking to upgrade my gfx card soon and maybe sooner than i thought :D , i take it this asus isnt reference design ??? so no good for watercooling with a 4870x2 block probably have to get a xfx card instead , i have a e6600 @ 3.6 using a gigabyte P35DS4 with 4gb ddr2 ram 1 dvd writer 1 hdd etc with a corsair hw520w psu which isnt going to be enough with this card is it ??? as i will probably need a new psu which one would you recommend on a budget to use with this beast ???

As soon as the stock hits I will get one out and have a look at it. Only way to be 100% sure.

Well I expect they wont wait till they are out of stock before they order more, they will order in line with their business plan (perhaps monthly) in which exchange rates will have an effect.
 
I'm pondering over this as a replacement for my 8800gtx. Couple of questions to people in the know. Has micro stuttering now been completely resolved?
If the issue hasn't been totally removed I can't buy this card.
Also people who have the card do they know if it would run Team Fortress 2 at 1920x1080 with all options set to max with 8xMSAA and 16xAF without dropping below 60fps.

I have been on corsair's website and put the spec into there search and it said my 520w psu would be good enough with a 4870x2 :eek:and i even added a hdd and a extreme overclocked quad (which i dont have) and it still recommended my psu :D .
 
Wow! Amazing price, I have an 4870 already though, but luckily OC have some nice deals on the single cards to :D, holy crap though 230 for such insane performance.
 
I have one sitting in my 'Outstanding Orders' list, waiting to see that all important "10+ in stock". :p Also hoping they get some Be Quiet! 750W PSUs in today, otherwise there will be no system building for me!
 
Bad news date put back till tomorow. European bank holiday has caused a delay at customs. Sorry for the delay guys will keep you posted for tomorow.
