I have a corsair 520w would this power this card and a quad core q6600?
Yes I will definitely be waiting, it's to good a product to miss out on at to good a price. I just hope I can get the rest of my order despatched so that there is someone at home to take delivery of the bulk of my order, and then get the graphics card sent to work once OcUK receive stock, as I should be able to carry that home on the train!

Hi i ordered this gpu on monday and would like to cancel my order as i want to order the xfx one as i heared this asus ones are abit loud and few people have had faults with them and also the fact i wont be getting it till next week and i start my job next week so wont have time to fit her in so how can i cancel my order please ?

You will find the XFX one using the stock cooler is far far louder.
This ASUS one is actually quieter than a stock single core 4870.
I will most certainly be waiting for them to come into stock, just a bit sucky that I won't have it for the weekend

Meh! guess I'll hang on and settle for staring at my almost complete i7 system, wouldn't it be a great gesture if ocuk were to give us free Saturday delivery upgrade as thanks for hangin' on in there

What screen res are you running and what do you mainly play?
24" screen - 1900x1200 @ Widescreen 16:10
I want to basically make sure i'm future proof graphically, next upgrade will be CPU/RAM/Mobo once it's worth it for gaming!
Mainly play games on the Source Engine/UT3, i know the X2 will be overkill (tbh ther 4870 can be overkill, especailly for source) but meh i've more money than sense and, and the sense is lacking!

Just built my i7 system too, also waiting on the card. my heart sinks every time i've seen the ETA change each day.
And yeh how nice a gesture would that be of them to deliver on saturday!

Just sent a webnote cancelling my order. Decided i'm being a tard buying one to run 1680x1050. Changed my order to one of the stupidly low priced Gainward GTX260-216's for 133 smackers.
Saves me 100 notes towards something else and should be more than quick enough for the res I run.

I think OcUK have been fairly explanatory already. Most companies wouldn't say anything about why the date was pushed back, so the fact OcUK have said what they have puts them above most. Ultimately it is out of their hands, maybe they shouldn't have been quite so ambitious with the ETA, but at the end of the day it is just that, an ETA.
And all of this is coming from someone who has had the card on pre-order since the weekend, so the delay has been frustrating for me too.
(And I can understand where you are coming from.)
