Asus MAXIMUS IV EXTREME

nice and stable enough some added functions in the bios but as normal they never tell u what they are

never seen a board with so many settings well im off work for the next week so im going to push this board as much as I can currently sitting at 5GHz.

Cpu will boot into windows @ 5.6GHz

Intalled it last night and all seems good although not had a real play.

Really like the BIOS definately a step forward from the older style BIOS.
 
The new BIOS is nice running with offset voltage and idle is now down from 137 watts to around 110 with no loss of stability. Pretty impressive considering 3 drives, 580, 16GB Ram, D5 Vario, 6 fans, Xonar, lights and an Aquearo.

I really liked my UD7 920 setup but this is in another league. Excellent board.
 
Hey, Im thinking of getting this board next week, is it worth the pricetag? or should I just get the Asus P67 Sabertooth.

I had the P67 deluxe but went for this board its great if you can afford it,

Running two c300 on raid 0 on intel controller and its bleeding fast
 
Yeh, ive heard only praise about this Mobo and it seems very good as well. So i guess ill buy it.

Now the long wait for 8gb ram sticks to go cheap lol till then gonna use 16gb i guess
