Ok I emailed him the Lighthouse avi and fraps file. can any1 confirm that using the avi on say another lcd does not show ghosting i.e. say on a samsung 226BW or similiar speed unit.
CSpaR said:WOW you're right! This is really odd. I'm 100% sure it was set to OD= NO. I was seeing ghosting. Just now, I opened the test page and switched it back and forth from NO to YES with the test page running. The ghosting was seen clearly at YES, then seemed to disappear on NO. When I look closer, I can still see ghosting on NO, but it is most certainly lessened.
Hmm...So even tho I turn OD off, it may still be on??? This is really aggrivating me now.
Thanks for that catch.
Dubi said:Even if the ghost is minimal, in theory with 2ms (OD off) it should be less noticeable than with 5ms.
Mook said:Try this avi on repeat and switch OD on/off. Can see heavy ghosting on the legs as they run.

Vasco said:Dear Richard,
Just to let you know that I had a look through the OcUK forum and I appreciate all the nice words that you have posted there.
From today I am no longer a member of ASUS, but it was quite rewarding to finish this case just before leaving. Please thank everybody for me, and it was a pleasure to co-operate with you all.
All the best wishes for all you guys and good luck with the monitor.
PS: I am actually just about to buy one myself.
Best regards,

I`m from Germany and i have the problem, that the german support does not know anything about the firmware update and theiy still assert, that definately there is no update anywhere.
Could you please give me an contact e-mail address of your support? I don`t know if my english is good enough to describe my problem per phone.
I`m still in hope, that they could give the information to the german support.
