ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition: The Ultimate LGA2011 Motherboard

As nice as that board is, I wonder if the new ASUS X79-Deluxe will be available sooner as it's showing due on 17th September elsewhere?

Keen to get a new system up and running with a more modern board and the X79-Deluxe doesn't look too shabby either. :)

Seeing as it'll be a new build for me I'm opting for the 4930k, which i need to order before its off "this week only" ;)

Any of you guys got rough idea of your build plans/parts?

MFR. XMP will be fine but they wont tune so well. TREF will need to be high for stability.

I'm afraid my overclocking skills are way below yours on the evolutionary ladder, what memory would you recommend for nice stable sustained clock? I'm defo going for a 4930k and I was going to venture into watercooling for the first time. But I may just be putting it in air first for a while as I'm working abroad a lot.

Just realised maybe you don't like to recommend certain parts over another what with sponsor's etc, so understand if you can't give a definitive reply ;)

If you want actual performance then Hynix MFR's (the actual IC name) is slower than double sided dimms, Hynix MFR's are great for extreme clocks and thats about it.

A solid 2400/2600 quad channel kit maybe with samsung IC's will give you great performance and allow you to also "tune"
