ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition: The Ultimate LGA2011 Motherboard

8 pack - Just had a quick question for you bro. Apart from the molex on the bottom of the board for additional power (EZPLUG) are there any more additional power plugs on the board that you are aware of?

(The RIVE had the PCI Xpress 6 pin for GPUs and a 4 pin floppy power for the RAM?)

Am custom making/sleeving PSU cables so would really appreciate your input.

Regarding RAM, wish I saw your advice earlier (16gb Max), as I already ordered about 3 months ago for my build 64GB Dominator Platinum 2133Mhz! If I cherry pick the CPU (4930k or 4960x), do u think I could get a decent overclock given the RAM saturation? i.e. how strong is the IMC on these puppies? (I will use custom water cooling)

Last question! I will have 2 x 560, 3 x 480, 1 x360 rads in total for my system. Am planning to run dual loops (3 x 480 for the CPU + MB cooling), (2 x 560 + 360 for the GPUs Quad sli or quadfire (hawaii maybe :-))??? Is it better to have one super loop? I plan on using 4 pumps, 2 for each loop... Sorry this is a little off topic, but completely on topic in a way as I want to get the configuration that maximises the overclock potential on the Black Edition board!!

Many thanks, and sorry for all the questions. But its great to be able to ask q's to an expert such as yourself :-)

These boards will be here mid to late October. I know this for fact guys, I helped launch them so asked the question.

I can report the work being done in this time is improving an already great Overclocking Bios.

Just seen a problem with the top vrm heatsink there a pipe running to the io plate heatsink so does that meen if you want to fit the old EK blocks you will need to cut or take off the io heatsink or does that area not need any cooling .

This is from the EK rep on another forum about the old rp4 waterblocks for the board.

As we don't have the board in office yet I can't say yes or no for sure but MOST LIKELY, it will not. We are planning on making a block for this board though so don't worry :)
