Asus ROG X570 Crosshair Dark Hero Release? *** NO Competitor Talk ***

Thanks for all the input anyway, appreciated.

I presume you tried this:

ErP Enabled in bios fixed this problem for me.

?

Yes, tried absolutely all workarounds suggested in that thread:
- Brand new battery
- ErP on (and other BIOS related power settings)
- VESA certified DP cables
- Disabled fast boot, sleep etc.

It's bad design on the board I'm afraid.

Yeah, seems like a bigger issue.

I saw someone say they enable fast boot and never use sleep. I don't turn off my PC usually or use sleep settings.

Oh.. and of course I've tried Gigabyte support, like several others with same issue did. Guess the answer, "Take your mobo to your local store where you bought it from for further examination".
nobody got a helpful answer, not sure what's the situation with other brands but Gigabyte really lacks (not to use some other word) in that department.

Well, sensible head has prevailed and I've gone with stock hero. Temp seems to be a major factor for ryzen and I'll be gaming at 4k so decided to forego the added core boost from DOS. 150 quid difference with cashback, not to be sniffed at...

Got sick of waiting and ordered a VIII Hero WI-FI today. Will work out at £320 once the cashback has been applied so not a bad deal overall. Was too expensive and out of stock on UCUK :)

JFYI this morning I received the following notification from the place where I have a pre-order in for the Dark Hero:
"The date-of-delivery given by the manufacturer / pre-supplier is 20.11.2020"
