I dont see an option to switch on shockwave.. tbh I cant remember seeing any yes/no when the 8800gt was installed

does everyone with a 4850 see the cod4 grenade shockwave? or am I the only one that doesnt
 
Had an issue with Crysis where after 5 mins it re-sized into a window :confused: Very odd, but after abit of delving, i found the full screen option in crysis un-checked. Thought it was because the windows res is different to that of crysis, so have set them to be the same.

Trying alt+enter in the reverse does nothing apart from give me a black screen.

I know what your problem is
do you have 2 monitors or 1 HDTV and 1 monitor connected to your card ?

if thats the case then i know why your not getting fullscreen

you have to open catylist and go to DISPLAYS MANAGER: then right click on the right display box then click on SWAP DISPLAY MAPPING:

that should solve your problem ;)
