do all sapphire 78xx use the same cooler ? they look the same to me even on the basic version and the OC version also are there major differences between standard and oc sapphire versions aside from the clocks?

i dont know but im guessing just the clocks are different,you could easily match the clocks with the basic version,they dont run hot anyway,should be 3 year warranty though not 2,thats a bit poor
 
I am loving the msi card! My fan profile goes up to 40% when it hits 50c and bf3 hit 56c and it was dead silent! Well happy with it just need to get an i5 and i'll be on my merry way hopefully
 
not to bothered by the 2 years it would be a miracle if could keep a card that long :D and yes coolers are the same they are excact same card you just pay around a tenner extra for the oc which is very modest and part of the fun is ocing yourself ;)

Should have got in quick on Tuesday, they were £199 and in stock :p

Though TBH the sapphires should be just as good.

I would say they should be around the same performance. 7850 CF (at stock) is pretty much on par with a 590, which is pretty much on par with a 680.

So tbh, at current pricing you'd be better off just getting a 680 for ~£400 and having a single GPU rather than CF 7850's.
 
the 7870's are up in the clouds pricewise for me anyway,ill wait a while and see your results with the sapphire,they are my fave brand after all,and yeah xfire can be a pain with drivers,dunno if heat would be such a problem on these cards though

i ordered a 7870 not a 7850 :)
