LOL, our systems are near identical in spec and scores :D

Compare

(I'm on water with an XT though).

Aye, decent scores mate. Puts us in the top spots on ORB at our CPU frequency too. :)

I prefer to think it's skill rather than luck :p

Oh right. Last time I tried it, it found my gpu/mem to be like 103mhz or something odd.. and it caused corruption on screen when moving them

Thats what i'm now using as well.If you read through this whole thread, you could be using it too ;)

I could'nt get it to work either, but now it is working fine at last :p

deciding to try OC'ing my sapphire X1900 XT

i load up the CCC and my defaults are 500/600 so im a bit wtf, i thought the default was 625/725 !?

i got the fan set to 100%

just nudged the speeds too 521/621 in ati tool
(ccc wasnt doing anything, i click ok, and it didnt move at all)

gonna use the FFXI benchmark for my tests xDD

Dammit ok I'll give it ago tomorrow :p

my powercolor x1900xt wont budge past 660 core and 745 memory even with voltage increases.if i raise it any higher it locks up or i get artifacts everywhere.i guess i have a really bad card clocking wise but still a good buy for the money.
just hope i aint doing something wrong clocking wise but i dont think so as even ccc detects at 658/745.

am i to understand that in CCC

current ore/mem clocks are 2d , and request clocks are for 3d ?

if so then my requested clocks are

690/750

at 1.3v

im still going, my fan is at 100%

i havent seen a single artifact, or for that matter a single increase in the benchmark ive been using ( FFXI benchmark 3) and also the video stress test in CSS, should i get 3dmark 05? will i be able to seee a difference at all ?

:edit:
CCC wasnt showing any changes, im now gonna use ati overclocker, and disable ati tool.(used ati tool to change fan speed and volts)

I have exactly the same prob, except I can get 661/785 pretty much sorted :(
