Audi owners in here!

You buy a brand spanking new top end Audi every 12-14 months, how is tyre wear a motivating factor in a purchase decision, it must surely not even register on the financial radar given the 5 figure sum per year you must lose in depreciation alone :p

Why is Audi extended warranty so expensive compared to BMW's?

For my A5:

Comprehensive
Roadside
Unlimited mileage in the year
£0 excess

£1150

Or:

Comprehensive
Roadside
Unlimited mileage in the year
£250 excess

£750

These are slightly rounded up, but when you can get warranty on an F10 or E9x for several hundred less it makes me wonder.

The a/c fan is noisy, the part is £200 and then there's labour on top, and I may be able to get the nav upgraded due to the previously mentioned voice fault with it. So I'm in two minds whether I should pay out or not.

I also have 9 months remaining RAC cover so the roadside seems pointless.

Just renewed mine and it was 750, same cover. However mine is an s5! I guess it all comes down to failure rates or they treat them all the same.

It's a par for the course discount on this segment of car when they are clearing stock for the new model - they all have enormous comedy list prices which nobody pays. It's the same story with the 6GC, which had up to £20k off it recently, and probably the Merc CLS as well.

'One off deal' and 'swallowing the depreciation' is just salesman speak - he's done his job well and probably just rolled the depreciation on the Q7 into your current deal, so you are still paying for it.

It's only money and if you've got loads of money then who cares, enjoy nice cars, but don't kid yourself into thinking its a super value and certainly don't pretend you did it because the tyres cost too much on a Q7, thats daft :p

Nice looking car.

That'll look amazing stuck on the windscreen above your integrated system.

Haha, was just going to say the exact same :)

Map updates on the older systems are are/were a total rip-off. On the newer ones they include a set amount of updates with the system and you can download them yourself.

Welcome to the exclusive A3 saloon club, that's very good discount from a dealership. The A4 is actually going to be replaced with a new version as it has already had at least one facelift, and possibly more. May I suggest you join this forum http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/244-new-a3-s3-8v-chassis/ and put your new car into the A3 Saloon register, mine is the very first post.

You're cuke2u over there? :)
