Audi owners in here!

Crazy money for that rental though. The Audi RS models have traditionally depreciated very slowly. The cheapest RS3 on AUC has only depreciated around £10k in 3 years / 30,000 miles (sure, trade prices will be lower, but not by as much as leasing will cost, by a long way).

If you are going to buy an Audi RS, then generally you do it so that you can take the equity out at the end. So either buy it outright, or PCP. There are a few cases like this out there, Ford RS models are like this too. You would be stupid to lease one of these cars, as while the monthly payments might be similar to PCP's, the residual values fo these cars is most often very good.

Bah, went back to looking at A3 8P 2.0TFSI's as I was months ago, and unearthed something very annoying regarding insurance... It is £76 a month for a 3dr 2WD, £140 a month for a 5dr 2WD, £170 for a 3dr Quattro and I can't get a quote for a 5dr Quattro...

So the only one which makes sense really is the 3dr 2WD, which is a shame because I would have prefered a 5dr. And most of the 3dr's are Quattro's...

I also want it to be a 2005 face-lift, an S-Line because of the smoothed bumpers and such, and I don't want it to be a high miler either... Less than 100K on the clock, preferably less than 90K.

Seems that ones which fit all that criteria are as rare as hens teeth without going into silly money :(

Keeping an eye on MK5 Golf GTI's as well as an alternative, but they are more costly because of the GTI badge, and aren't as nice inside. MK2 Octavia VRS' are a good value for money alternative, but I dislike those inside and out from a visual perspective. :(

What engine has it got? I was reading around the other day to see if VAG had a new version of the 5 litre v10 diesel and ended up finding out they made a 6 litre v12 that went in the Q7. 500bhp and 1000nm. Absolutely crazy.
I remember having one up my arse in my Z3 because I didn't allow him to cut me up as he tried to join the motorway.
Those things are ****** quick and the mahoosive grill is mighty scary when you've got one inches away from your tail at motorway speeds

Was probably a fake deal.
An S8 on Stable Vehicles is £500 per month and £3.5k initial payment (all + VAT) for 5k miles. They are usually competitively priced compared to every other cheap lease site.

Had an email at work the other day offering an S8 for £360pm ex-VAT on a 9+23 basis with 8k mileage.

Company car tax would be insane but, on a personal lease, it's not bad at all, even after paying the VAT.

Quick question, hoping someone in here will know.

On the A3 (8V) is it possible to have the 'Mobile phone preparation - High with Audi Connect' option without the Tech Pack? (so standard, QVGA MMI)

Here's my A4 S-Line. It's actually very similar to the OP's A4, but manual instead of Automatic. Will be looking to replace it with a newer Audi of some variety soon; I need something with 4x4 and can potentially pull a horse box so am eyeing up the A4 Allroad or Q5 with the 3.0TDi engine.
