That must be fairly mental.... :D

How does it feel in cornering? Do you know how much power can be sent to the rear?
 
The next meet will no doubt be early to mid January, the 9th or the 16th I would have thought. I should think Voxination will put the thread up on Saturday after the meet, so put it in your diary straight away!

Unfortunately I only get back from South Africa on the 17th :(

I could potentially make this Saturday's meet, but it's my company's Xmas party on Friday night so that complicates things ;)

We don't meet until 12, and last time I was 45 mins late and it was fine! I don't know where you're coming from, but mrk came from Portsmouth last time so there's no excuse!
 
My A5 passenger door is playing up. Sometimes doesn't open after unlocking from the outside. No problems from the inside. Oddly if I open it once from the inside it fine until I lock it again.

Google giving mixed responses. Anyone experience this? Quick fixes?

Mine started doing this and then eventually just stopped working altogether. Apparently some wires snap or the solder isn't making very good contact. A new door lock unit and it was all working although this is on an A3/S3 but I know they are used on A6's so could possibly be the same part for an A5.

Remember my nice shiny S3 I posted a few threads back?

The other half has just driven into a fence in it:(
Will need a new front bottom bumper/spoiler bit. Anyone have a rough idea of costs?
 
Hit a massive pothole in this torrential weather and now my car feels ridiculously light and somewhat 'disconnected' when turning corners at speed. Going in for a wheel alignment/suspension check up on a hunter machine on Monday, hoping the caster angle or alignment has just been knocked out?

Which brings me onto my actual question...

Can you adjust the steering weight on VAG-COM? In general, I really dislike the lightness of the steering on the B8, especially at high speeds. I'd rather it were heavier. If you cant overwrite the software settings, is it at least possible to make minor changes to the caster setup on a road car for heavier steering?

Picking my car up Monday... I might go crazy and make a new thread with pictures!? And some initial thoughts after circa 300 miles. Excited ha

Pondering about going to view this. It's about 75 miles away, and on paper looks good (1 owner, recent cambelt, long MOT).

Not many pictures so can't really tell what the cosmetic standards are like. Not that we'd be expecting show standards on a 10+ year old car.

Anything I should be weary of? What to look out for when viewing?
