How big do you really need the screen to be though. Is that screen in the A4 'retractable' or the merc'esq tablet style?

I had B&O in my 2012 A4 Black Edition A4. I'm quite sure it was a completely different spec of B&O though. It did sound good though. Not sure if it was worth any extra over the HK in my 5 series though.

I meant it was a £2200 upgrade on the A6 Black Edition's Bose system.

Scrap that, You are right xs2man its an extra £6300 for the B&O. Who has that sort of money for in car sound!!!

Viewing a 2010 2.7TD triptronic Audi A6 Le Mans estate on Saturday.

Any thing in particular I should be looking out for with regards to potential issues?

My R8 doesn't have the MMI iPhone adapter fitted, amazingly. It's actually not that much of an issue as I have a couple of memory card readers which all my music can go on, but does anyone know how easy it is to retrofit.

If you have an RNS-E system with a "media" button (MY 2010>) then it's a possibility to retrofit AMI.

As for how difficult, no idea, but most things Audi retrofit aren't that difficult I've found over the years.

I'll be surprised if they a) know, and b) would do it.

I've had trouble ordering parts even when giving them part numbers: "How did you get that part number" or "We can't find that part on our system".

But if you do have luck then let me know, I'm always open to the option of a more amicable dealer, and I'll be closer to Stoke Audi than Macc Audi when we complete on the house next week.

S-Tronic (DSG) is an auto-clutch box (well twin auto-clutches to be precise).

Never heard the term "auto clutch box" as a marketing name though.

What's the context of the question? Where did you get "auto clutch box" from?

The only non s-tronic "automatic" gearbox available in 2016 A6's is the 8-speed tiptronic available only on the 3.0BiTDI.

That advert is for an S-Tronic box equipped car.

Looks a fair bit more "modern" than the outgoing model, but to me some of the proportions just look odd and/or wrong. Once again (as with the A4), shame about the retarded iPad approach to nav/infotainment.

Evolution rather than the revolution, its basically,aesthetically speaking, a facelift and butt lift. I hope they make more of an effort with the A6 externally and ditch the stupid screen internally.
