I've been looking into these as the parents have expressed a interest in one. So looking at the various options for them and ill give them a list.
Id agree with the S-Tronic gearbox option.

Yes im in the throws of ordering now! My 2 main requirements were estate/hatch and to be able to put 2 child seats and a person in the back and not have a MPV.....yes im at that boring stage of life!
The 5 series was being replaced soon, the E class esate isnt still out, i decided to just look at saving money and going for a X-Trail or Outlander Phev, but the atrocious cheap ass interior put me off. Ive ended up going for a Volvo XC60 R design Lux with a load of options such as Pana roof,HK audio and heated steering wheel/screen/seats. its actually not much more than what im paying for the A4 now, and much more powerful.
In the ideal world it would have been the XF estate had they done one. I reckon i'll be back in an estate in 4 years time as all the bigger ones will be firmly established in the market.

Just put a deposit on this beauty! Its got electric everything and the S Super Sport Seats. Can't wait to pick her up on the 15th.

Nice, the only other option I'd have wanted was the heated wheel.

Thats what i would have wanted, but in a different colour like Paradigm, those are some pretty pricey options

I guess buying used means that you dont pay the daft amounts of money that you have to pay when new.

That's true. This one is an ex-demo so saved over £13k on list price. It has Bose Surround Sound too so a bit of a bargain if you could ever say that about a car lol.

Surely you might as well have bought a brand new one - they are available at £10-13k off list depending on model.
So I have this A4 diesel which thankfully goes back tomorrow and I get mine back. When I put diesel into its frankly stupidly small tank (48 quid empty to full!) it has 2 nozzles. One for diesel and another for some blue stuff which the computer is now telling me to add. What's the blue stuff?
It's AdBlue - urea injection for the exhaust system.
