Audi owners in here!

The Audi S3 Saloon looks absolutely fantastic, the specifications are excellent, it looks great from the outside. Hadn't really realised quite how nice it is. I find it difficult to get interested in Audi these days, everything you see is the the same white, S-Line, Amplified Black Pack Sportback Sport leased 2 litre diesel with 140bhp, but the S3 really seems like something else.

Infact if I had to be picky only the interior lets it down.

Anyone tried one?

Why do you think it the interior lets it down? Had a look round the new a3 saloon in the showroom and thought the interior was extremely well put together. Quite minimalistic but modern. Can only imagine the S3 saloon would be even nicer (seats etc).

I'm on the list to drive it if/when it comes over here as its still not got a confirmed release date or price from what the dealer said when I spoke to him last. Do like the look of it thou.

Not keen on the way the dash sort of stops half way down. Much prefer it when it seamlessly blends into the centre console. The navigation screen also looks stupid sticking up like that but it seems all manufacturers are doing that now :(

seen that as the expected price, but it becomes nearer 40 when you add the right options to it. Might go for a S4/S5 instead and remap the heck out of it.

Surely both of those will soon be end of life, why put big money into the oldest car in it's segment?

I know what you mean, but they all seem to be going that direction now, inc Mercedes etc. I think even the new A7/A8 uses the same sort of screen.
