Australian Grand Prix 2011, Albert Park Circuit - Race 1/19

I live in The Netherlands but have watched F1 last year on the BBC, will the 2011 season be broadcast on BBC as well and on which channel?
I can receive BBC1 to BBC4 but not a BBC HD so I am hoping it will be on BBC1 or 2

It'll be on BBC1-4 terrestrial TV, BBC HD isn't available to everyone in the UK as not every has cable/satellite TV, such as myself.

you know BBC HD & BBC One Hd are both on Freeview dont you :D
(ie normal terrestrial tv) - yes you still need a new stb/pvr to pick it up but no need for the cable/sat expense :)

I really hope that they don't, a repeat of last year, where the only reason that red bull didn't walk away with things leaving everyone else standing, would be rather depressing.. its meant to be a sport, and where one team totally dominates, it gets boring.. just like it was with schumacher in 2000,2001,2002,2003 and 2004..

Here here........but I wouldnt be against Mark Webber winning, really thought he deserved it last year after the **** RB put him through

I don't live in the UK so no BBC HD or BBC One HD for me.

But on which HD channel will F1 be broadcast, BBC HD or BBC One HD?
Or are the HD channels UK only and as such I will never get that via cable in NL?

It'll be on BBC One HD as the races are on BBC One. Not sure about the NL issue tho.
No issue really if it's on BBC One, just that I can't get BBC One HD so no F1 in HD for me as the local channel is also still broadcast in SD.

What is the rule reagarding rear wing changing, did I read it correctly that a driver can change the angle of the rear wing at will but it is not possible if there is a driver within one second following him?

No it's not, true. However I will be doing my best to try and avoid the news, then at 10/11pm, when the wife and kids are asleep, couch/beer/iPlayer time :)

The flying lap is about to go live now if anyone is interested. This episode is basically a preview to the Aussie GP and the season in general.

Guests include former F1 engineer Willem Toet, F1 Fnatic's Keith Collantine and a video interview from Christian Horner. Their previous episodes have been very watchable and interesting.
