Australian Grand Prix 2015, Melbourne - Race 1/19

Manor should do tbh.

As I understand it they're running their 2014 car with their nose made to comply with 2015 regulations. Their 2015 car won't arrive until some time in Europe.

I think its a new chassis as there are changes to the side impact regulations this year. But it is effectively just a tweaked 2014 chassis hence why they are having to run 2014 Ferrari engines.

I doubt if it has actually ever been put together before this weekend though. They only got the engine supply arranged a few weeks back.

Cooling and ancillary setup. The engine would bolt in, but they would have to redesign the surrounding bits to accomadate it (where radiators go, exhausts, etc). Using a 2014 engine means they need to do very little to run the car, and can then focus on packaging the 2015 engine in the 2015 chassis they are currently developing.

If you look around the grid different teams using the same engines will have different cooling setups. It could be that the way they fitted the 2014 engine in the car no longer works with the 2015 engines?

Yup, for example I remember reading that Ferrari have advised Sauber to increase cooling for their 2015 engine compared to 2014.

Button proves that you can be a World Champion and a nice guy at the same time, that's what I like about Button, there's no hidden agenda, no moody or petulant side. He's the kind of bloke you could bump into down your local and have a pint with yet you wouldn't even know he was a world famous sportsman letalone F1 Champion.
So do you regularly hang out down the pub with your mate then?

Only 1 pint though. He'd have balance issues after any more.

Tags still on, just incase they need auctioning off at the end of the season :p

I did.

A team with no money and required to do nothing but exist still manages to produce a few bags and shirts and present a decent brand image.

Although the logo on the bag looks like it could be an Arsenal one?

So McLaren are travelling without travel bags and shirts this year? What are they taking their luggage in? Carrier bags, half naked?

Tbh I'm surprised they have bothered to make any branded kit. I wonder if they will sell merchandise? Super Aguri went a season and a half and only produced a hat.
