It is being driven very quickly but smoothly. An F1 car is so much quicker than any other car not least road car all will seem slow.

It is but the Aston Martin was estimated to be 5 seconds a lap slower than the Merc safety car. Lelcerc has been quoted as saying he wanted to complain but then saw the SC had no grip.

If that's the cynical attitude in here towards f1, the drivers and the teams, then it is of no surprise that there is a lack of real f1 fans that contribute and are turned off by this forum.
What's ironic is when you actually go to a race, everyone is friendly, there's no beef between red bull fans and merc fans etc. Everyone is super chilled unlike in football matches

The FIA is not impressed with this kvetching:

Fair enough, frankly.

Yeah I know, sometimes this forum is like it's been invaded by a football supporter's mentality...
I think to be fair had something like the end of last years season happened in football there would have been riots on the street, likely severe injury and maybe a death or two, and the national papers would still be talking about it…

On topic, good to see the FIA clamping down on silly and unhelpful comments. The safety car is exactly that - what it says on the tin.

Quite, but F1 fans who go to races aren't the same as the keyboard trolls.
Wembley couldn't even put on one match without it being an excuse for a riot..
