Minimal tennis love in Sports Arena :(

Sharapova (Dominika Cibulkova) and Williams (Ana Ivanovic) are the female big shocks so far. Murray had a little wobble in R4 to beat Stephane Robert who was only in the main draw because of an injury withdrawal after losing his qualifying match.

As we speak Roger Federer seems to have found some old form and is teaching a tennis class to Tsonga - the winner will play Murray.

i'd like to follow it but i can't. :o i was surprised to hear about serena going out. presumably azarenka is going to win it again.

the only thing i'll be watching are the finals because bbc2 are showing them at the weekend.

Ah, the slam with obnoxious UK court times. :D

Been watching it on and off on Eurosport. Of course, Murray's challenge starts now with Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic if he gets that far. I expect he'll run Nadal close, probably to four or five sets, but not quite get there, so to speak.

Of course, I'm happy to be proved wrong.

Highlight for me was the final set of the JMDP match where he went out. That Bautista guy was hitting winner after winner, fantastic to watch.

Oh Novak. Awful shot to lose the match with. Got himself in completely the wrong position, and just looked mentally drained.

Given how close Fed/ Murray stats are ( 9/11 in AM' s favour) tomorrow morning is going to be a very close match over 5 sets would be my guess)

The other side of the draw is a bit of a **** take now Djokovic is out

Nadal through to the last 4 after a 4 set victory over Grigor Dimitrov. Federer about to take the 1st set against Murray - very much in control. As long as he doesn't do a self destruct, he might win this (and then lose to Nadal ;)).
