Avatars

What's she from? I recognise her. Other suggestions:

1) Milla Jovovich from resident evil
2) The woman on the front of Pulp Fiction (As said above)

most recently lost. Been in quite a few films, was in Fast N the furious as well iirc

Another forum that I post on uses the male / female signs under the avatar where the other information is regarding location etc. Could this be included? It is very small and could clear up some misconceptions.

I like the way the forums are at the moment. Other forums that don't have any rules or swear filters are like a really cheap and tacky bar. Any old tramp from the street can come walking in and making the place look untidy. You really don't want to spend too much time in this seedy bar.

OcUK forums is like an upmarket 5* hotel bar, with a dress code, strict but still relatively casual. No lager lout tramps in here. You can happily spend the night in here.

If you want to maintain the feel of the forums, I say we keep it the way it is.
I totally agree with your comments.

Like you, I also think that we need a couple of new avatars - not custom ones though.

NO CUSTOM AVATARS!!!!!1

They do look very very tacky and would detract from the look big style.

I agree. On other forums I went on you'd always get animated glitter GIFs which annoyed me. The avatars on OcUk add to the whole feel of the forum. Another good avatar for girls (another Milla Jovovich)

I certainly don't think we should have custom avatars(And its never going to happen anyway) I would quite like a 5K avatar though. Also slightly OT , what have the men of honour done to become 'honoured' out of interest, ive always wondered?

I asked that earlier. From what people have said it's basically if they've been extremely helpful and have contributed a lot to the forums etc :)

Never in a million years would I want a female avatar.
I just don't see why gender should be relevant to anyone on an internet forum besides maybe hormonal teens.

Some people may just not wont to be mistaken for the opposite gender :) Since OcUk is mainly a male orientated forum many women are assumed to be men which they might not like.
