Haha.. another overhyped carp game. One reason why I hardly ever pre-order before a demo.

women ey!
Is this an isolated incident or is everyone with high end sound cards having issues?jsut got a game....its actually not bad pretty fast paced and the pulse rifle sounds awesome up loud, i am getting no lag at all![]()
, i really hope this game turns out ok, it was my most anticipated game for this year along with the new supreme commander. It would be a shame if this turned out to be complete carp.
. its anyones game at mid range combat, obviously the aliens are no good unless they are up close and personal so they do tear you to shreds if you dont get them early (as per the films tbh)Ohhhh no, i was looking forward to this. Hopefully the full release will be better once they see how poorly the demo is doing. I'm going to take a risk on this one and keep my pre-order, just hope the released version is better after all £17.99 is hardly breaking the bank. Also if the demo is just a console port then maybe that could be the cause. I'm just speculating now, would be nice to hear some words from the developers, surely it would be in their interest to say what's happening as their game is getting slated left, right and centre at the moment.
So you're having trouble with your soundcard then mrk? Glad i haven't bought one yet then, my soundcard purchasing plan got put on hold by valentines daywomen ey!

It's not a soundcard problem, it's the way they've implemented sound in teh game, it's only an issue if you have set your sound options to a high quality rate instead of the standard rates. The game only works up to 48000Hz whereas all other games are limitless.
Lots of people on STEAM forums have the same problem, XFI, etc.
It just means using 48KHz for the game and not using 96KHz.
