Verstappen needs a slap for moving twice under braking for Turn 1.
Grosjean needs many slaps for losing it trying to heat up his tyres under a Safety Car.

I don’t know what he was thinking — cold tyres and brakes going into that corner was only ever going to end one way. He blew that for himself.

Just watched the replay the two Redbull's coming together, somewhat predictable but I blame Max, he pulled in front and hit the brakes, there was only going to be one outcome there.
Bad luck for Botta's and Vettel, although Vettel blew it with that unnecessary overtake attempt.

He has had much worse.
Nothing spectacukar today, just kept it clean, and now several races into a completely awful season for him, he is leading the championship, he must be pleased as punch.
Indeed. I was surprised as the commentators were talking about the cold tyres and unpredictable braking on the 1st corner of the restart literally just before Vettel went and tried that banzai move.

i was pretty skeptical about this race when it was announced but it really does deliver.

Vettel wasn't bad luck. He is just too quick with his mental reactions and used the worst timing to try the attack.
Fernando must be a better driver than Vettel. The poor luck for Fernando because Ferrari never gave him a winning car.
While, for a second year in a row, Seb has the best car or very competitive and again he is going to lose the Championship with amateur mistakes.

Screwing up an overtake has nothing to do with luck. It was poor judgement.

I think Ricciardo had no where to go. He was going to throw his car down one side of the other and Verstappen wanted to cover both sides.
Earlier on in the race Ricciardo always made a single deliberate move and let Verstappen come back at him, providing enough space.
Vettel was unlucky to be second in the first place. Bottas went from third to first due to the safety car. But thats to be expected in F1 and strategies are built around them happening. The puncture was completlely bad luck though.

I doubt he will lose it tbh. Mercedes are behind.
