It was hardly the race of the millennium, but it was alright to watch I think.
Bad day for Ferrari, but fair play for all the finishers. This result for Mercedes is pretty amazing, considering the car. I feel for Hamilton after this one. Looked like he'll need some serious physio after this...

Being in China, I was pretty gutted to see Zhou retire from the position he was in. :(

McLaren's "strategy" in the first stint was beyond laughable. Ricciardo had way more pace in the car at that stage. Norris failing to understand the "hold station" order at the end after that, made me think a bit less of him.

Lewis limping worse than I have been this past week... Retirement through injury could be on the cards by season end.

Don't wanna hear George and Lewis are using the same car lol clear to see the difference in the bouncing
so maybe they should. He seems to be the only one on the grid to have these adverse issues. So perhaps its about time the excuses stopped from Merc and they actually fixed it...even if it sacrifices speed.

Toto - Lewis, we all know this is a bit of a **** box to drive at the moment. I'm sorry for the back also. We will sort ourselves out.

Hamilton - Well done guys. Great job on the strategy, thank you for continuing to push. Let's definitely make some changes ok? thanks.

Pit - Copy Lewis. Can't come soon enough.

Hamilton - Let's keep pushing.

Well they could increase ride height , race results will be lower but with no back pain but will be harder to actually find proper solution without trying stuff

Something has to change with this porpoising. Russell was talking to Perez about it in the cool-down room. Back injuries are pretty damn serious.

The only way the FIA can make changes is on safety grounds, otherwise a majority of teams need to agree and currently there aren't enough teams wanting it to push the change through. The FIA are in a rough spot as the teams with the worst bouncing could run the car higher to eliminate the bouncing so the solution is in their hands but they won't. That's not a safety issue, that's a performance issue.

I don’t see why any teams would agree to it though. Mercedes have made a fast car, but it’s horrific to drive. if raising the ride height fixes it at expense of speed, then that’s what they should do at the moment. While they’re at it, stop the experimenting with parts at the moment on Hamiltons car as it’s making things worse.

This is what's hard to understand. They are obviously looking at the problem and thinking, this part/setting should make it better. They have then put this setup on Hamilton's car and he's got an absolute spine blasting so something isn't computing there.

They are the same car. George is just better at managing it..

How does George's car have less bouncing on the straights , when just driving straight ?

Watch both and compare the frequency of the bouncing also listen to both

Also I don't have any sympathy for Merc they had it good for so long but yeah ideally would like seeing 3 teams fighting it out
