Poll: Bacon butties - with or without butter?

As regards general sauce use, I have gone off both tomtato and brown sauce in recent years, I now only have HP fruit sauce. Only on sausage sammidges still though, not on bacon.

Other things an 8 year old child might say... "Mum, I'm just off to explore the dark and dingy woods by myself, I'll probably be back in about 8 hours around teatime for those bacon sarnies. As long as they are correctly cooked mind."

It's cured in a brine. Buy dry cure.

Just to shock this thread, this morning's bacon sandwich was with salad cream and was surprisingly good. Two very contrasting flavours.
