Bahrain GP 2009 - Race 4/17

So the Brawn doesn't have the perfomance level on a dry track that everyone banged on about. The toyota and Redbull are faster and the Mclaren is almost right with them.

They have really turned that mclaren round fast.

The Brawn pace is dissapearing and there's much more to come from Red Bull.

Vettel after this race I think will be championship favourite. Good Qfy by hamilton as well, hard to say how much of that is down to him or the car being improved because they ran Kova so heavy and he's crap.

Button was saying it wasn't easy, Brawn mentioned it would be cooler today. I think the heat is an issue for them at this stage. Still, if Button can keep Hamilton behind him and get past a Toyota he'll have had a decent result I think.

Single lap performance is not what it's about today though. The Brawns have been consistent so far and the only people to threaten that so far are Red Bull. With one of those down the grid, we could be looking at a Vettel Button 1-2. I don't think the Toyota drivers have the whole package when it comes to a full race win but they will aid in helping us see what Button, Vettel and Hamilton can do behind them.

Hello everyone, looking forward to the race, heres a joke I heard yesterday

"Ferrari have sacked their pit crew because they realised scousers could change all 4 tyres in 6 seconds compared to the Ferrari mechanics 8 seconds!"
:D

(I know I know, it was bad!)

Doesn't the full joke go something like:

some other website said:
Modena, Italy:
The Ferrari Team fired their entire Pit- Crew Yesterday.
The announcement was followed by Ferrari's Decision to take advantage
of Liverpool Council's "Work For the Dole" Scheme and hire unemployed
youths from Merseyside.
The decision to hire them was brought on by a recent documentary on
how unemployed youths in Liverpool were able to remove a set of car
wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment or tools,
whereas Ferrari's existing crew can only do it in 8 seconds with all
the mod con tools.
This was thought to be an excellent yet bold move by Ferrari
Management, as most races are won & lost in the pits, Ferrari would have an
advantage over every team.
However Ferrari expectations were easily exceeded, as during the crews
first practice session; not only were the scousers able to change the tyres
in under 6 seconds but within 20 seconds they had resprayed, rebadged,
and had sold the vehicle to the McLaren Team for a non disclosed sum!

:)

Yes yes it probably was, but I was slightly tipsy last night and it was a man from Holland telling me the joke, so forgive me for just giving the bare minimum of details when I retold it :p

So much hate for Ferrari. :(

If I started being nice about Ferrari now, people would worry! :D

The car is one of my two favourite colours how about that, oh and Kimi does make me smile with some of his antics.

Thats as much as you're going to get sorry :p

the gap does appear to be disappearing quickly, at a guess i assume this is still due to a lack of secured funding allowing them to actually develop their car at the same rate mclaren/red bull seem to be
