Bahrain GP 2009 - Race 4/17

Am I the only one whose rather impressed with the BBC on their F1 shows - they are very highly polished and even though its obvious they arent splashing the money like ITV did it really is nicely put together.

However, I cant say the same with their website - extremely poor with bits and pieces all over the place with no synergy...

Anyone know the background song on now?
Serial Thrilla by The Prodigy from The Fat of the Land album IIRC - definitely Prodigy...

Yer I agree.

Close on the music, I've found it now.

Prodigy - Climbatize, knew it was familiar. Love the Prodigy

Got the right album :p

Not seen the practices due to a busy week at work so I quite niave to where the pace is - I would be surprised that its much different to China though - so I expect Brawn/Red Bull/Toyota vying for the top spots...
Never saw that coming ;)

I really want Kimi to do well this weekend....
Not surprised any more - I think his last expression on anything related to F1 was being gobsmacked when Ferrari agreed to resign him for this season - expressionless all the way to the bank. Fair play to the fella - he knows his time is short in F1 and Ferrari are moving to replace him so hes making sure hes getting paid as well as possible before he retires - hes won his F1 WDC - what else really does he need to do?

At least Q3 pace is gonna be indicative of Q2 with all runners seeming to be on super softs already...

EDIT: I think Ferrari and McLaren starting on super softs flattered to deceive regards their actual performance - looks like business as usual...

If you look at the times now, it seems that both Mclaren and Ferrari are gaining on the others with their KERS. Mclaren have definitely improved their car.

EDIT - EJ talking complete rubbish again!

Im guessing Sutil might have tried to go off the racing line to let Webber straight through and Webber didnt anticipate it - looking at the car that was ahead of them, that seems to be the racing line...

Definite block but I suspect thats Sutils story...

@Type_R - I think its more the other teams having to jump on the pace by changing tyres unexpectedly, rather than Ferrari/McLaren having significant increase in pace - Q2 should be indicative...
