Bahrain GP 2009 - Race 4/17

It's cos he cant handle a semi-new team coming in and wiping the floor with his team.
Hes a crap team leader and has only won when the championships are heavily in his favor.
he just seems really jealous that brawn bought a better team for peanuts maybe someone should remind him he could have bought the same team but he didnt so stfu

I think he is a very good team leader/manager. He knows how to

pick and choose his drivers and in the past has successfully got the best out of Alonso and Michael Schumacher, propelling them to 4 World Drivers Titles. Those are probably the 2 best drivers of the last decade and a half.

How come Michael Andretti never gets to use that excuse for his '93 season? ;)

M. Andretti was an accomplished racer. He arrived in F1 with a HUGE reputation. He had conquered Indycar racing and was recognised by many in the USA as one of the most complete drivers of single seater cars in the USA.

He was a good driver. His problem was that he had less than a single season to prove himself, alongside the fastest single lap driver of all time (Senna), who was blowing him away, with ease.

Andretti continued to show his pace by going back to America and winning his first Indycar race, after leaving F1.

Seems like the Mclaren boyz have fitted some NOS to their cars, a major turn on of speed from them!

TBH, its actually Hamilton who seems to be immediately on the pace this weekend.

In the previous races, for whatever reason, Heikki was faster than Hamilton in qualifying and practise sessions. Of course in the race, Hamilton was faster.

At Bahrain, Heikki seems to have a moved a little forward, but Hamilton seems to have not only have an improved car, but also, his mind seems hooked up and working in harmony with the car.

Hamilton has just put up a VERY fast time in the practise session.

Also, dont be fooled by the lack of pace of the BrawnGP cars so far this weekend - their race pace seems to be disproportionatly faster than their qualifying pace. Lets just hope it doesnt rain, otherwise Vettel might win another. ;)

I wouldn't say Hamilton's time is that fast, Massa's Ferrari is 2nd and they're not exactly on pace are they?

If the usual suspects run their super softs and go for it, I expect the McLarens and Ferrari to slip back into the midfield. It is practise afterall.

Looks like a new diffuser on that McLaren.

Interesting times at the moment. Could it be some teams holding back in the heat to reduce the chance of failure?
