Bahrain Grand Prix 2012, Sakhir - Race 4/20

Hamilton would be 5th if you remove the 12 seconds for those pit errors. Damnit.

.... and back down to 8th again for overtaking off track :D

Actually when I saw that I was screaming at Rosberg for forciing Hammy off the track.

So what is the rule anyway concerning leaving a cars width? Was Hamilton on the racing line when he was shoved off track? (same question for Alonsos incident also).

How much are you up, if I may ask? :)

Well my missus only remembered her dream after the race had started, so we opened up a SkyBet account and used the free tenner to bet on him to finish outside the top 7 at 5/2. You don't get the free tenner back, so she is £25 up without actually betting any of her own money.

Problem is, she is now scouring SkyBet right as I type this looking for some more bets so I have no doubt the £25 will be gone before long! :D

Neither driver was shoved off track. Rosberg went to the limits of the road in his first move, which he is allowed to do, and Hamilton and Alonso were both behind him rather than alongside. They both chose to carry on going off the track, rather than being forced.

I think there will just be a warning for all involved. Yes Hamilton overtook by leaving the confines of the track, but it was at an area of the track where there was no benefit from doing so.

Well I'd say it's Rosberg at fault as he is the common factor in both incidents, hell lewis had so much speed on him he managed to overtake in a straight line off track, moving over like that on two ex world champs is bad form.

On top of that what driver in their own right of mind would want to go onto sand to overtake of all things! That's extremely dangerous and he could've lost control completely by doing that.

McLaren win. Wrong
Other McLaren on the podium too. Wrong
Red Bull to be on the Podium. Right
Webber to beat Vettel. Wrong
Alonso to show speed but suffer massive tyre issues. Wrong
Massa to be embaressing. Wrong
Mercedes Pole. Wrong
Rosberg to beat Schumacher. Right
Both Williams in the Points. Wrong
Both Force India's not in the points. Wrong
Media to try and make a massive issue about a few petrol bombs. Wrong
Bernie to be blissfully unaware. Wrong
Magnums to be handed to presenters in the pitlane. Wrong

My predictions :D

Man I suck. :D

That section of track is concrete which is painted. There is plenty of dust there but its still solid.
