Think the beeb should get him in to eventually replace DC, reckon long term he could be the new Brundle but needs to cut his teeth a bit first.
 
Yeah true thinking about it I think he doesn't have the 'seriousness' to be a commentator tbh, think he'd come across as a bit lightweight.

Would have a great rapport with drivers in interviews and things though so an EJ type role would suit.

Nope, he would have got a 10 place grid penalty regardless.

The idea is to punish the teams so much they make sure they release cars safely. that I can agree with. But to wreck two races for one mistake is silly. I want racing, not penalty in top off a penalty.
If you want to ensure teams don't make sure mistakes, disqualify the car that race and a big fine or what ever. Don't wreck another race.

It's like football penalising the next game.
