Agree with Newey, I don't like penalties that affect two races. Unless there's no choice.

Nope, he would have got a 10 place grid penalty regardless.
The idea is to punish the teams so much they make sure they release cars safely. that I can agree with. But to wreck two races for one mistake is silly. I want racing, not penalty in top off a penalty.
If you want to ensure teams don't make sure mistakes, disqualify the car that race and a big fine or what ever. Don't wreck another race.
It's like football penalising the next game.
