Bahrain Grand Prix 2015, Sakhir - Race 4/19

Bah.. will have to see how Alonso does now. Interesting to see how the Mclaren performs. Will be cheering for him and good racing at the front hopefully.

Brundles getting all the important people today.

Nick Mason, Crown Prince of Bahrain, Former King of Spain, Lord March... and some poisonous dwarf.

You do get the impression that, in the eyes of everyone else, the TV & press on the grid consists of Martin Brundle and "some other people" :)

The UK broadcasts are shown across the globe in a lot of countries that don't do their own broadcast. Brundle is the face/voice of F1 to a large chunk of the viewers.

Everyone on used softs, except:
Verstappen, Kvyat, Stevens and Merhi - New softs
Maldonado and Button - New mediums.

But Button is going to have a lot of rubber to recycle at the end of the weekend.

wouldnt be suprised if vettel gets in front off the start, ferrari make excellent starts.

Definitely possible but then he's been near the front at all races and not gotten past yet. I think we had too many years of RBR's on the front and then not thinking being on pole was that much of an advantage :p

RBR's are dire on starts, and still are. How many extra points they could have gotten in the past 4 years if both(particularly Webber) could get away cleanly and more points this year already as well.

Wait, a 5 second penalty for Sainz... for a maximum time on the to the grid lap? I've literally never heard of that ever before, never knew it existed.

Nah, fair fight with excitement and wheel to wheel but ham winning.
It all depends on the first few laps, if vet can stay on hams rear then vet has a good chance, there race pace os better than qualifying.

Or perhaps they where close as Mercedes have evened it out a bit and gone for a mire race set up.

Either way I hope there's some decent wheel to wheel racing.
