Bahrain Grand Prix 2015, Sakhir - Race 4/19

You could argue they have maintained a 1-2 by doing what they did. If Hamilton had first pit it would be 1-3 with Rosberg quite far behind.

That's Rosberg's problem. Hamilton had built and earned a 5-6 second lead and the team's decision to pit Rosberg first cost him that and nearly put him in third place. Totally unfair to Hamilton, I know the team want to get the best result for both drivers but you can't compromise the leader for the benefit of the guy running behind, that's out of order IMO.

See my previous comment. They have added new skid blocks to the floor to prevent the teams pushing the ride height too far.

I see. Does it have no effect on braking bumps, traction during braking or top speed? It was irritating hearing the scuffing/scraping sounds during Practice and Qualifying.

Indeed. Perhaps Rosberg should learn how to start a grand prix.

Rosberg only had himself to blame for being in the position he was in.

Not least because it was Rosberg who lost his place off the grid and Nico who made a mistake after passing Vettel... costing Hamilton time to make up for Nico's mistakes is a joke tactically/fairness wise.

Ted also saying Kimi is not gaining on Vettel... when Kimi came out 14 seconds behind him and is now what 8 seconds. Ted says so much crap throughout a race.

The floor is hitting the ground just as much as it was before. Ita just now its titanium blocks rather than carbon and other softer composites, which means they spark and are louder on the onboard cameras.

I don't think anyone automatically gets first call on pitstop. You pit when the team allows it and the team's interest will trump the driver's.

Obviously when it is 1-2 by quite a distance you have to set up some rules to decide on who gets first pitstop as you can't just flip a coin.

haha, called it, I did wonder if the only way Lotus would have gotten ahead was if they were a bit dodgy on the release. Don't know if they'll penalise it but certainly looked like the Lotus came out with Massa obviously in the lane and too close.

Sauber using captive nut wheels?
Cos otherwise, getting the wheel off without the nut coming off fully is a bit worrying.

That Vettel replay of just driving off the track, looks remarkably like a brainfart moment.
