Would it be better if they forced the use of the hard or medium tyre? As in more mistakes, less grip, more durability?
 
Hahahaha. Riccardo could have got out again. But he can't now, because the FIA have pulled him into the weigh bridge
 
Bottas is out.

Ricciardo gets pulled into the weighbridge which shafts any chance of him going out again, not that he had much chance of going faster than the cars ahead of him..

So you are forced to put your best lap out there at the start

and changing pit so you don't need an out and in lap.
and only fir cars that are very close to each other performance wise. if it's like .2seconds between them, no point doing mire running. team behind you cant beat you and you cant beat team ahead of you, which is what happened last time.

even though hammy has messed up, this format changes nothing for him, will still do a second run

Would require a change to the tyre rules which are already set for the next 3 months even if they could get the unanimous agreement required to change it.

Yeah exactly the top 4 would have gone out in the old system, it's added nothing, and might take one out of the drama of anything
