Well the positive side for me with Merc being behind and needing to develop quickly means I will be busy at work for the next couple of months^^

The red bull does look really sorted, as does the Ferrari but I suspect red bull have more in reserve going by historic practice sessions. I'll admit i was hoping for a mclaren/Ferrari battle this season, with redbull and Mercedes being distracted to much by last year but as far as engineering goes you have to take your hat off to red bull for creating what looks like a great car.
 
Is the Merc really that bad? Russell was only half a second off Max in the last practice and equal to Sainz in the Ferrari.

With Max and Lewis being in a different league to everyone else driving wise last season, the gap between him and Lewis could potentially be quite small. I don't think Lewis' time yesterday was representative.

If they can sort the porpoising out quickly, they could be back on top again.

Im guessing you now need a VPN to watch also?

If I use the F1 app on my iPhone, it’s the same as the Fire stick. As soon as I enable a VPN connection, it then lets me watch FP1.

VPN IP needs to be from a country that doesn't have a broadcast agreement. Bulgaria, US, Mexico are amongst a few.

I was in Mexico last year when I signed up. The price was around half that of the European price.

Pretty straightforward to get your fire stick to use a vpn though, especially if your router runs open wrt or similar software.

A quick bit of research this morning....

VPN to South Africa and it's $45 for a full year, however I can't find a way to pay as all of my cards are UK and they get rejected.

On my Phone I can VPN to SA and via the app it lets me register but the cost will be £60.

Has anybody signed up via the web, getting the local prices, and paid managed to pay with a Uk card? I've had a quick look at virtual cards but nothing seems like it will work.

I had to just pay via an iPhone subscription with VPN enabled on the phone.
 
Are you talking about the cost of a vpn or the cost of F1TV? The latter will need a card from non broadcasting country. Easiest way is to get a friend or ex girlfriend to sign up pay it for you and just pay them back.

As for a VPN there are loads out where. I've used Nord VPN in the past which worked for F1 and Netflix, but there are many others that also don't keep logs. Sometimes it takes playing around with different servers as some of them can be blocked.

Could this be a verstappen WDC and ferrari WCC?
Ferrari have 2 great drivers. And still a lot of questions around perez!

I really wouldn't get too excited about Bottas being above Hamilton in FP2...

The biggest time to pay attention to is Russell matching Sainz and only being half a second of Max.

If we assume Lewis is going to be faster than Russell (possibly not the case, but likely), I think Merc are much closer to the top than people are making out.

Toxic to life in general, they are an absolute horrid team, just look at how many no2 drivers they went through, yep merc were bad with cry’s to the RD last year but RB were on another level with crying to the RD, you just have to look at the last race for everything you need to know, Horner and Marko are nasty human beings which make the whole team toxic

I’ve got a vpn that puts me in Brazil. Unfortunately I don’t have a Brazilian ex girlfriend to pay for it. Do you?

You can pay for it via mobile pay e.g. Android Pay or Apply Pay and then it doesn't care where you are from as it is going via a 3rd party. You just need to geo locate the whole device (phone/iPad) to Brazil etc. via a VPN then go through the relevant store and pay for the plan. Was working like this a few weeks ago when I sorted my buddies out who just dumped Sky, so you can give it a go. :)

We don't know the aero stuff works as intended yet.

Has been said many times, the ideal is that DRS can be reduced in future, with aim of removing eventually.

ONLY when it is proven the aero changes do the same thing.
