Ah ok, i quite like it to be honest and it makes them go quicker lol. It's more or less the same colour as the late F2007 but matte.

The engines are now frozen, they had to develop the engines for this year to accept E10 fuel, something Merc have said wasnt as simple as it sounded. Not sure the engines had big changes. It might be overreacting to the reliability issues they had towards the end of last year.
edit:
In fact engines are frozen.

Completely new regs, there was never any guarantee they could turn up with a championship winning car. There was every chance they could have turned up with a turkey and ended up at the back of the grid.
They did delete someone’s time in Q2 just now, I can’t remember who.Looks like they are not applying track limits to anyone.
Perhaps they will only be applied during the race itself.

Yeah, I get that after reg changes the previous top team is often usurped. But RBR were competing at the top last year and have nailed it this year.
Merc have so much experience, knowledge and resources yet they've produced a (relative) lemon.
It's like they've put too much effort in trying to find a loophole that will give them an edge (no sidepods) rather than focusing on the basics. Basically, trying to be too clever for their own good.
In what way?
I'm loving the way they look to be hell to control precisely.
Used to hate the way they were on rails everywhere previously.
I do however love the colour scheme of the Ferrari. It has a style from 2008 and the colour scheme of the early 90s.
Honestly, how have Mercedes ****ed this up so much?
Bit early to be calling it a lemon no?Merc have so much experience, knowledge and resources yet they've produced a (relative) lemon.
Bit early to be calling it a lemon no?
They havnt even finished Q3 and were only 3 tenths back in Q2
I wouldnt write them off by any means, might not be favourites at the first round, but they have come back before.

Someone mentioned earlier it’s the switch to the E10 that’s the problemIt is a problem if the engine is turd which is looking highly likely as everyone who is running Merc engines are at the back.
Mercedes 1.4 seconds off the pace![]()
