Bargain!!!

Yet you reckon £60 for a cambelt kit?...then again, you don't know if its 8v 16v petrol or diesel do you really?. Points for effort though mate...
:)

I stated 8 valves, in my estimate, didn't I?

The cambelt kit is a guess based on past experience, but If you want to get specific, feel free to Trust me a reg number, and I'll price it up tomorrow. But even if it's half that, you're closer to £200 than you are £100 ;)

Well if you've paid that much for a cambelt kit for an 8v Clio, you may want to have a word with that good mate of yours...i'll stick to my usual sources i think thanks...
:D

Where have I stated I've paid that on an 8v Clio? Can't say I've even touched an 8v Clio, if I'm honest.

But considering the kit for mine was a little over £100, I didn't think the guess was too unreasonable, after all, I did not know I was ever going to be asked to quantify my £200 statement.

Still, I stand by my original comment, if it's done properly and it's still significantly less than £200, I'll eat my hat.

Guess???, thought it was gospel mate?. Didn't you already get your 'mate' at the local factors to price it?

My spend is completely irrelevant. My friend runs the place, in fact I get a bigger discount (established when pricing up the Clio belts and service items) than my friends garage opposite who buy 90% of their stuff from there

Like I said, maximum discount

:)

My reference to pricing up is on my 182, which was done at the weekend.

I'm aware your car isn't a sport. Please try and keep up with the conversation, I was quantifying my discount after you questioned it.

Like I've already told you, my spend (minimal) is irrelevant to the discount I receive, a very good friend runs the place.
