Baroness Thatcher has died.

Looking at people celebrating the death of Thatcher, just shows that the socialist left is inherently evil. Look at the brighton hotel bomb, that was clear leftist terrorism. Yep pro government terrorism, now we have pro government anti-capitalist celebrating the death of a wonderful prime minster and champion of capitalism, don't see the media headlines, pro government supporters attacking police. Surprised they didn't call them anarchists to be honest.

she hated the Irish Freedom Fighters and allowed them to die, she hated the English poor and did nothing at all to help them, she hated Greenpeace and environmental protectionists, she was the only European political leader who opposed a ban on the Ivory Trade, she had no wit and no warmth and even her own Cabinet booted her out. She gave the order to blow up The Belgrano even though it was outside of the Malvinas Exclusion Zone - and was sailing AWAY from the islands.

Erm we were at war with Argentina... its not like it was a random cruise ship - big warship... whilst at war with a country that was the aggressor... hows it unfair to sink the thing? Go read up on the incident as pointing out that it was sailing away from the islands- it is rather irrelevant if you actually bother to find out about the context.

As for "Irish Freedom Fighters" - they chose to starve themselves and **** all over their cells - bunch of dirty ****** tbh...

I don't see why blowing people up in order to further your political aims should entitle you to special rights once you've been caught.

As for the people of Argentina - it was a backwards dictatorship when they decided to make a really dumb move and invade a UK dependent territory.... Maggie did them a big favour - the lives they lost in that conflict are small in comparison to the numbers executed internally by that regime - winning the war, taking back what rightfully belongs to the Falkland Islanders and causing the downfall of an evil regime did the Argentinians a huge favour. Unfortunately they're still massively ignorant today and try to lay claim to the small island nation, in reality Maggie's actions vastly improved their lives.

Thatcher is remembered as The Iron Lady only because she possessed completely negative traits such as persistent stubbornness and a determined refusal to listen to others.
Every move she made was charged by negativity; she destroyed the British manufacturing industry, she hated the miners, she hated the arts, she hated the Irish Freedom Fighters and allowed them to die, she hated the English poor and did nothing at all to help them, she hated Greenpeace and environmental protectionists, she was the only European political leader who opposed a ban on the Ivory Trade, she had no wit and no warmth and even her own Cabinet booted her out. When the young Argentinean boys aboard The Belgrano had suffered a most appalling and unjust death, Thatcher gave the thumbs up sign for the British press. Iron? No. Barbaric? Yes. She hated feminists even though it was largely due to the progression of the women's movement that the British people allowed themselves to accept that a Prime Minister could actually be female. But because of Thatcher, there will never again be another woman in power in British politics, and rather than opening that particular door for other women, she closed it.

Thatcher will only be fondly remembered by sentimentalists who did not suffer under her leadership, but the majority of British working people have forgotten her already, and the people of Argentina will be celebrating her death. As a matter of recorded fact, Thatcher was a terror without an atom of humanity.

That is a Morrissey quote.

Nice work son. You've just copied what someone else said, how about your opinion?

Actually it's a fake letter made up of old quotes, how embarrassing.

Yeah, shooting someone in the back as they giving up and running away for their life is so honorable and brave!

Bet hey I'm not surprised she is getting so much love here on this right-wing daily fail loving forum! She was a vile woman and an embarrassment to this country.

Nice sweeping gerneral statements there, no specifics you can argue about because you know youd fall flat on your face. Back to reading socialist worker then, enjoy.

Nice to see some forum members making me chuckle on my lunch break :)

She'll be lioned in the north...not so much in the south.

Do you even know what you are talking about? The Belgrano wasn't running for her life as she didn't even know the Conqueror was there.

Indeed, I saw it posted on Facebook and agreed with every-word. Didn't know it had come from Morrissey so cheers for that I'll make sure I quote it when I no doubt use it again.

Now hows about refuting his points, ohhh wait you can't because it's all true

Posting it word for word without quoting or citing your reference which only goes to prove that once again people are just regurgitating opinions of other people.

I'm not refuting points from a fake letter from rehashed quotes from a lad's mag. Sorry.

watching bbc london news about people arrested for the party celebrating her death in brixton.

they go on to give other interviews with people who look like they've barely entered puberty and they hate her too. i'm not sure why they hate her though?

One woman against the Unions who were very very powerful and tried to rule this great country, whilst destroying it at the same time with their greed.

Maggie annihilated them.

RIP Maggie.

because theyve barely entered puberty and its anti-establishment.

I don't think they do actually hate her at all. I think they dislike her general "get on with it" attitude (to grossly oversimplify, but you get the idea) because, hey... it means you need to get off your lazy, hippy backside and do something with your life rather than waiting for someone else to sort it for you. It's the same bunch of angry, bored, misguided fools who camped outside St.Paul's etc.
