Bartender at Wetherspoons

I have been thinking about asking one of the bartender out at Whetherspoons, i go in there for lunch and i am not sure but she seems that she might be interested. I asked her where she was from and did some small talk. I am not sure if i should ask her out for coffee, should i ask her if she likes coffee first as apart of a conversation? I've been reading up on a lot people say never ask bartender out as they never give out numbers because they get asked all the time. When i go in its usually quiet and i try make small talk. I still don't know her name so that's probably next question to ask, she is from italy but speaks great english and seems realy pleasant.

Just speaking from experience in bar/club trade girls/guys will flirt to get tips you don't tip they tend to not bother. If you're tipping her there's a good chance she just remembers you and wants your money not the thing you hope she wants.

If so - she is probably being nice as par for the course as a bar tender.

If not, then she might actually like you.

Worst that can happen if you ask is for her say no and completely destroy your confidence!

I have never tipped. So that's a good sign. She is very friendly so it is difficult to say whether she is interested or not.
