They should have made it so you can only use it for say 5 seconds or something then have to recharge it. Mine mainly turns off at the cutscenes only.

Yep, it does make the game far to easy, and like you say its a great looking game and you miss all that if you use detective mode all the time. I only used it when I got stuck or on the stalking levels.

They could have done it by just having Detective mode for the detective stuff like following trails.

And instead highlight things like vent grills or wires needed to progress in the orangey colour out of detective mode. With of course the ability to turn that off in the options or have it off all the time in Hard mode. Kinda like Mirrors Edge the way you can turn off the highlight thing.

in the room that is a cell look high, think thats where to go. it's very obvious when you dont know where to go its always through a wall or a vent... dective mode and scan the room

i picked this game up this morning. been playing it pretty much solidly throughout the day.

What difficulty are people playing on? I've started on hard and it's quite a challenge I must say. The game is excellent though, I'm so pleased with how it's turned out. It's just a true Batman game if you get what I mean. The Joker is excellent and always brings a smile to my face. Really enjoying it so far. I hope if they ever do a second one they introduce some sort of multiplayer mode. Maybe one player as Batman and the rest as thugs?

I just played through on normal for my first go, I'll more than likely go through it again on hard at some point.

Phew got all the 240 riddler challenges. Took me to find all the trophies, puzzles and statue things (ones with the scarab on it) to realise you need to take out all of the Jokers chattering teeth! Took awhile but got it done

Has anyone tried the challenges? ive treid the 1st few and looking at the people with the highest score, left me wondering, what am i doing wrong, the 1st challlenge my best is 6300 which is not getting hit and a x3 for variation bonus.

yeah, thought that myself, but that was a pretty decent game also.

You need to get flawless combos without dropping the mulitplier at all to get the big scores.
