Batman Arkham Knight - Official Thread!

Finished everything now but The Riddler stuff which I cannot be bothered to do as it's about as interesting as watching erosion.
Liked the game overall however and I thought the main story was the strongest of them all.

Is this playable yet? Have the patches fixed issues with SLI etc? Really enjoyed the first 2 (I'm not counting Arkham Origins) and would like to give Arkham Knight a go if it's gonna run ok...

Personally I found the performance acceptable on my system, and I've played it all the way through to the end. I have a 4770k, GTX780, 32GB Ram, and it was generally ok.
From what I've read, the next big patch should be out by the end of this month.

Finished it at the weekend, including all riddler challenges to get the 'extra ending'.
I really enjoyed it, best of the bunch overall, though Asylum was very good from a more traditional linear gaming standpoint.
Maybe a tad too much car stuff in there but overall, very good.

Done everything apart from the Riddler stuff, they bore me. I might force myself through it. Was a good game though

Only took a couple of hours to get the rest of the trophies, if that really. Most weren't difficult, especially if you'd played the previous games as some of the ideas were the same.
The new ones really involved remote control of robots, a couple were fear take down related and a couple of 'place explosive on X, move X, blow up explosive'

I think the longest one had me scratching my head for 10 minutes which involved a robot and an explosive in the studios.

The fight with the riddler follows the prior one before he disappears except you can now slap him about. I'm not giving anything away to the context as I don't want to spoil it for those still playing. It's not an earth shattering battle though or anything like that.
Oh and you get to deliver him to the police station and see the chalkboard show that GPD is full.

The additional ending I liked a lot and it's a good few minutes long, it set it up well for another I think and ties up pretty well.

Relaunches for purchase on Steam & will be fully patched for existing owners on PC 28th October with all the available DLC for season pass holders.

I completed it the other day. It ran a lot better than it did several months ago, however I still experienced issues. I fell through the ground into a gigantic void several times. The fps dropped noticably during vehicular combat and the game became stuck on the map screen twice, requiring me to tab out and exit.

To be honest, even if these issues weren't evident, I would still only rate the game 6/10. I have played all of the others in the series and thoroughly enjoyed them. However, I found the story in AK to be stilted and predictable, the characters bland (with the exception of the joker) and the obligatory batmobile sections a pain in the a$$. Whatever they fix, or don't fix....it's not going to do anything to remedy the latter. So, roll on Fallout 4.

Unlucky :(
I played it for 53 hours and the only bug I encountered regularly was the weird 'flippy' cape issue when diving off something, it was like he was constantly jump/launching. I'd say it happened once every 4-5 hours of play and landing somewhere sorted it out.
