if you have backed them you just contact them your key will be given to you . this game is based around being similar to cod 2. which is it. corner jumping and the like whats in it is what happened on every cod game since they were made. the only ones that they didnt was on silly crouch only servers. its not even hard to counter strafe jumping round corners if you semi decent guy jumps hit them. does the game have a higher skill ceiling yes. cause most of the people playing at moment are oldskool cod pros and the like. so you will often run into really good people or...even semi decent people are better than your avg normal fps player. its actually good.
its not just you have to be pro though as there is arcade mode which is just like going into normal servers like you would in oldskool cod games. so all the classic modes are in and they are short games. if you after some retro oldskool fun which isnt easy as battlefield and the normal hand held garbage give it a try. some people wont like it because they just used to whats become the normal now days. spoon fed easyness. its refreshing to need to play well than just spamming kill brainlessly. you miss you die its that simple. so the onus is on your skill and how you play.
forget moh or oldskool quake and the rose tinted glasses. they are great memories. you wont get anywhere just comparing games like them to modern ones in memory. they will always be better even if they arent. its cause you had great times with friends and in a period of time you probably enjoyed. i know i played them since they came out . same with every cod from cod 1 on launch day. this game is as close to cod 2 as you will ever get. dont confuse it with cod 1 or uo though as they are different games totally. some people love this type of game. if you dont fine...dont play it just let others do who do like it and enjoy it. dont be one of those negative nancies posting over and over and you wont even play it. thats a sad waste of time.

they tried to make a oldskool cod 2 style game for people who wanted this and it wasnt being catered for. they played cod 2 literally every day in the live streams said that it would be similar.it wouldnt be identical how could it be ? just similar. i dont get what you want . if you a casual gamer and dont want the proside you just play arcade. which has all the oldskool game modes. no different from cod 2. if you want the comp side you play that. it caters for both casual and comp.
moh was never mentioned. also its a different game from early cod. also first two cod games are different from the rest. so it comes down to which game you wanted this game to be compared to. moh is more like cod 1 and united offensive. which are nothing like cod 2. so i dont get why people are comparing them. thats like saying quake 3 is like half life 1. totally different games just they are ww2 fps.
as said if you kickstarter backed the game email get your key if you havent got it. or just email them direct. its clear you dont like the game or you wont play it. if thats the case just move on find a game you like. many do like the game. thats why i made the thread for those who do like it and will play it regular.
the idea is great they just cant seem to make it work. also most casual players just cant cope or accept how it plays. they just want farm fed cod or easy battlefield games. for the masses. shame as when its good its a really fun game. its had two chances. probably wont get a third. ftp will probably be next. as a last gasp save procedure that wont work.
