haha lap it up.:p shame the right people wernt behind the vision.that many wanted.a quality ww2 fps is wanted by many just no one can nail it together.give us what we want.

says goon you backed some right bad ens.joking aside only reason i put this up is because on paper it sounded like what we wanted a ww2 game like oldskool shooters.thats the problem now days.any person can take engines like unreal 4 engine and buy some assets off the market and churn out a game.even with little knowledge.

as for SA similar sort of thing i was trying to give them benefit of the doubt and in the hope the clowns would hopefully pull something similar to the mod we loved.it didnt happen.just wanted to play dayz and carry on killing you and everyone else on here :p

so yes i promoted two games.lol.you probably promoted more than me. also if you look at todays games or in recent years how many have been amazing ? honetly. a handful if that. people just love to bait water off the back quack ! :D
 
you can be negative or....give it a chance. square enix working with them lots have changed new maps graphics alsorts. it plays really well.

PSA: A friendly reminder that the version of Battalion 1944 on Steam is NOT the full/finished version that is releasing on the 23rd of May when we leave early access. It's a very outdated version! Feel free to play it to get back into Battalion but it is a very different game!

every game has its place it may not suit you fair enough. they know they messed up with the servers when first went early access. they totally revamped the game now square enix working with them. its worth a try. if all you do is shoot down stuff or be negative you dont get anywhere but negative. i dont personally care if you play it or not. its just a post for those actually interested. if you not going to play it anywhere why even waste energy posting? doesnt wind me up or even do anything. just waste of energy. please dont reply i wont reply to you. not unless its not a waste of time. those of us who love old skool bolt rifles and s and d free for all are very limited. its really good now .servers should be fine and massive promotion is soon to begin to get the player base decent.
 
didnt want to reply but generally curious to see if you are confused or..just dont understand. this game was never meant to be like dod in anyway at all.dod was the cheap mans cod with silly additions. if thats what you like fair enough. this is more like cod. infact they actually based much of it after cod 2. which is blatantly obvious. me i personally prefered cod 1 ad uo over cod 2. they were more skillful. skillfull as in you had to hit head with bolt rifles to kill. so more accurate so of like in pubg. with snipers, probably why i like that. dod was more slower paced.

cod 2 was quicker easier to kill people. snipers hit anywhere you could kill. this is what battalion is like you miss you die. thats why some wont like it . there is no safety net. the thing is many do like that. if you dont i suggest rather than argue debate about it spend time on something you do like. it isnt a reskin been totally overhauled. the game would have still been popular now if on earlier access start they had the servers right. 16,000 people were playing it. there isnt many now but thats because many are waiting for this new launch and people like shroud to stream it. to get many on it. once the publicity hype starts going there should be quite a few on and thats all many people who like this kinda game need. not only that its got a full comp more with a deal with faceit. so its not like before. if you made your mind up and just gunna keep posting the same thing why keep posting that if you not going to play ? be more positive with your time. have fun. dont waste it being negative over and over.
 
you kinda on the right sort of path. its basically a oldskool cod shooter with no perks. reg is brilliant fast. people played cod like what you seen in the stream back in the day. many want a game like this and the whole new build is live on the 23rd. i was suprised how many watched last night which shows there is indeed plenty of players ready for launch come thursday. cant wait. been playing the old build last two weeks getting used to it again. loads of fun on that so cant wait to get on the new build.


what many may not know is mods. imagine old skool maps soon. bolt rifle only servers. big tdm. free for all servers. custom servers. lots of fun.
 
shrouds gunna be playing it on release. :D pro casters earn a lot of money. the chick you reffering to is famous caster.

nah he wont be they a small indie studio. shrouds been genuinely interested in the game since concept. give the game a go and forget about early access. total overhaul.
 
not sure if trolling...but hes a big streamer. big streamers can bring big audiences. they are also normally paid to stream new games for periods of time often at launch. the big streamers get mega money for this. ninja for eg for apex got 1 million. battalion is made by a small team of indie devs. so for shroud to genuinely be interested and play it without pay is really good news. it will bring people to the game.
 
player base was never meant to be massive its more niche than say battlefield. no perks no hand holding. i compare the player base similar to something like squad. doesnt mean its a bad game and as long as plenty to play with its fine. numbers are going up and the game is fun to play.

i think the only problem it has is many of the people playing are of a higher skill ceiling compared to most other fps titles. so new players to this oldskool style of game may get a whooping.
 
the first early access week wasnt well executed but...they learned from it moved on and got it right. games really good now dont let that first week put you off playing what is a great game now.
